Help Us Stay in Touch: Update Your Details via the NHS App

At The Beacon Health Group, we want to ensure you receive important health information, appointment reminders, and test results without delay. To do this, we need to have your most up-to-date contact information.

Why accurate details matter
If you change your mobile number or moving house, please let us know. Having the correct mobile number and email address on your record means:

  • You receive instant confirmation of your appointments.
  • We can send you quick links for video consultations or digital letters.
  • We can contact you urgently if a clinician needs to discuss your care.

The easiest way to update your information
The simplest and fastest way to check and update your contact details is through the NHS App. You don’t need to call the surgery or wait in a queue—you can manage your record 24/7.
To update your details:

  1. Log in to the NHS App.
  2. Go to More (usually found in the top corner or menu).
  3. Select Account and settings.
  4. Select Personal details.
  5. Review your phone number and email, and edit them if they are incorrect.

The NHS App is a secure way to access a range of NHS services on your smartphone or tablet. Beyond updating your details, you can:

  • Order repeat prescriptions directly to your chosen pharmacy.
  • Book and manage appointments.
  • View your GP health record and test results.
  • Check your symptoms using the 111 online tool.
